BigHand's client-side Speech Recognition module allows authors to view text being transcribed in real time as they dictate. Improve user productivity and expedite document production by adding highly accurate Speech Recognition integration.

Authors will see an extra 'SR' icon within the BigHand recorder window. When selected the Dragon NaturallySpeaking engine is activated and a text box appears. Authors can record as they would normally, their voice will automatically be converted into text in real time and populate the text box. A variety of voice commands are available to edit or delete text, authors can also use the rich text editor to apply formatting such as bold, italics, underline, change font or use bullets. Transcribed text can be exported, alternatively a Word template can be selected from within the BigHand profile form and the transcribed text inserted, improving document turnaround times.
