Lambert Smith Hampton drives efficiency with digital dictation from BigHand
LONDON, UK, 20th November, 2007 – Leading property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton, today announces the successful rollout of digital dictation software from leading provider, BigHand, to drive efficiency and enable work-sharing between secretaries across five office locations.
BigHand was chosen for its approach to deployment, product stability and functionality partnered with its experience and thorough “start to finish” service. The deployment of BigHand3 facilitates effective work-sharing across different departments enabling senior secretaries to focus on core business functions. Lambert Smith Hampton has benefited from delivering better client service through faster document production. BigHand3 also enables surveyors to work remotely, dictating while on location, and sending the voice files with allocated priority directly to the chosen secretary or group for transcription.
Ben Hunter, Associate Director at Lambert Smith Hampton, comments on the roll-out, “We find that the system massively increases work-sharing between secretaries, resulting in faster document turnaround. In the past, we have had to hire temporary staff to help with workloads when secretaries have been off. We have not had the need to employ temps since the introduction of BigHand3, which will save us a considerable sum.
