Graham started his career as a Graduate Trainee with Hewlett-Packard having graduated from Leicester University with a degree in Engineering. He progressed through various engineering, market development and sales roles before leaving HP to found ComputerLand. ComputerLand became a leading provider of IT services to the UK corporate and public sector markets. As Chairman and Chief Executive, Graham floated CL on the AIM list of The London Stock Exchange in 1997 and sold the business to Capita Group plc in 2008. Graham left Capita at the end of 2008 to
pursue opportunities within the Private Equity sector.

Jon Ardron

Jon joined BigHand in February 2010. He spent his early career at Bank of America, successfully building a world leading treasury management software and consultancy business. At the age of 33 he joined the Board of Thomas Cook Group (20,000 employees, turnover £20bn) as Group CIO and Managing Director of e-business, and was part of the team that transformed the business performance (including developing ThomasCook.com). Following the planned split and successful sale of the business to new financial services and travel owners, Jon worked in a variety of early stage technology enabled high growth businesses.

He then spent 5 years at financial services business BGL Group (2,500 employees, turnover £300m) with responsibility for several business units (including 2,200 insurance staff in 5 call centres), and developing the businesses multi-channel consumer and technology strategy. The successful drive to internet enablement (including moving sales from 10% to 90% online and the development of CompareTheMarket.com) and the deployment of advanced voice technology increased customer numbers to over 2.3million, lowered costs by over £10m and
quadrupled profits to £43m.

Jon has a degree in Theoretical Physics from Cambridge and an MBA from London Business School.

Rob Lancashire

Rob joined BigHand in 2010 to take responsibility for the Legal & Professional Services business unit of BigHand as part of the acquisition of nFlow where he was Managing Director. As a founder he was a key driver in the company’s reputation for innovation and customer service. In August 2011 Rob was appointed to the role of COO where his responsibility was widened to include BigHand’s Products, Development and Client Services teams. He has expansive knowledge of the markets BigHand serves and brings his ethos and skills in managing the business to deliver the very best products and services to existing and prospective customers alike.

Rob has a HNC in Mechanical & Production Engineering (Computer Aided Manufacturing) from Anglia Ruskin University.

Guy Millward

Guy was appointed Chief Financial Officer in July 2012. Guy has spent the majority of his career in the IT industry, having worked as Group Finance Director of Alterian PLC from 2011 until its acquisition by SDL PLC, and as Group Finance Director for Morse PLC from 2009 until its acquisition by 2e2. He also worked at Kewill PLC for over 9 years and was UK Finance Director for the IT division of GE. In his role as Chief Financial Officer at BigHand, Guy is responsible for measuring and analysing financial risk, financial reporting and planning for the entire BigHand Group.

Guy qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young.

Ben Mills

Ben was appointed Managing Director for the EMEA Legal & Professional Services business unit in August 2011. Ben has worked within the wider legal technology community since 1999, joining BigHand in 2005 as a Regional Sales Manager. Ben went on to successfully manage the sales and account management team as Sales Director with personal responsibility for the Legal 100 market segment. In his role as Managing Director for EMEA Legal & Professional Services, Ben is committed to ensuring we deliver the best possible level of account management to our customers whilst continuing to grow the number of firms benefiting from BigHand technology.

Ben has a degree in Law from Manchester University.

Eric Wangler

Eric Wangler was appointed President of the US & Canadian business units for BigHand in April, 2013. With over 15 years of experience in the legal industry, Eric was Vice President of Ricoh’s legal vertical segment, prior to joining BigHand. Ricoh is a global technology company specializing in office imaging equipment, production print solutions, document management systems and IT services. His responsibilities included overseeing all legal sales, operations and customer service, with a particular focus on litigation support services. He was instrumental in evolving Ricoh’s service delivery model to include a full suite of litigation support services, from forensic data acquisition to final production of discovery documents.

Dan Speed

Dan joined BigHand in 2001 when the company had 20 beta sites, to lead the initial marketing launch into the UK legal sector. Subsequently promoted to Group Marketing Director he helped drive the enterprise software client base to over 1,000 organisations worldwide, and also led the operational integration of nFlow post-acquisition. In April 2010 he took responsibility for the Asia-Pacific P&L, and during the following 2 years the regional client base doubled and we recorded first wins in the Australian healthcare vertical. In May 2012 Dan then took responsibility for the USA & Canada business units, 12-months later handing over to a local management team following a record fiscal year of growth and the acquisition of Verdatum. Dan now oversees BigHand's cloud product line across the group.

James Kippenberger

In April 2010 James was appointed Managing Director for UK Healthcare and has overall P&L Responsibility for the UK Healthcare Business Unit. The overarching objective is to establish BigHand as the market leader, which will be achieved through developing and adapting BigHand’s products and services to match the NHS’s collective and changing requirements. James joined BigHand in 2001 and, as a Regional Sales Manager, helped build BigHand’s legal client base from 20 law firms to over 750. James then took over responsibility for managing the UK sales team in 2006, before becoming Managing Director for UK Healthcare.

Stephen Brown

Stephen was appointed Client Services Director in 2010 to lead the Client Services Division, with responsibility for Customer Technical Support, Implementation, Training and Project Management services. Stephen’s main objective is for the Division to be recognised both internally and externally as a centre of excellence for the efficient delivery of high quality, high value services to BigHand customers. During Stephen’s leadership, the division has maintained a month on month Net Promoter Score greater than 50 (considered excellent by the methodology), achieved industry awards for customer service including the Institute of Customer Services ServiceMark, implemented ITIL best practices within the Technical Support team and has managed the implementation of ISO27001 information security standards across the entire business. Stephen originally joined BigHand in 2003 as Project Manager following 5 years at Arthur Andersen and holds both a BSc in Pharmacology & Chemistry and an MSc in Pathological Sciences from the University of Sheffield.
