Server-Based Dragon Engine from Nuance
In Nov 2009 we launched an innovative new Server-based Speech Recognition module aimed at organisations looking to further streamline administrative overheads in the current climate, or support an upturn in work as the economy recovers. The new voice-to-text module also supports voice submission from BlackBerry® Smartphones or Windows Mobile, alongside traditional dictation hardware. The BigHand Server-based Speech Recognition add-on is part of the latest Version (3.3) of BigHand’s award-winning .NET enterprise digital dictation workflow software and utilises the Dragon NaturallySpeaking™ speech server from Nuance Communications.

Unlike our competitors BigHand is an Elite level Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Member of the BlackBerry® Alliance Program. As an Elite member of the Partner Program, RIM provides BigHand with industry-leading resources in development, marketing, sales and training to help us deliver our BlackBerry Solution. The Alliance Program offers comprehensive support at every stage of the customer lifecycle, and all the benefits of an enhanced relationship with RIM are passed onto our client base.

BigHand is a Citrix Alliance Partner. The Citrix Alliance Partners program is designed for companies looking to leverage the Citrix access infrastructure marketplace by creating new and innovative solutions for the on-demand enterprise. As a member we gain access to Citrix technology, support, and a variety of compatibility testing kits to ensure future product compatibility for joint customer satisfaction.
Vodafone Certified
BigHand has been awarded Vodafone Certified application status for its BigHand Mobile application, and is the only digital dictation provider to have achieved Vodafone Certified application status. In order to achieve Vodafone Certified status, BigHand Mobile underwent technical evaluation by Vodafone UK. As a result, the application has passed the approval process, meeting the high standards demanded by Vodafone UK’s customer base and delivering value to the UK marketplace.
